Hello, this is Shweta.
From sourcing fabrics to replying to DMs everything is done by me.(With occasional help from friends and family of course) 😉
On this special occasion of our family growing to 10,000 just thought of saying a Hi and sharing a few bits from my journey.
It all started with a random collaboration with my photographer friend @kunalpm_ who offered to do a shoot which would give me a start as well as help him build his portfolio.
The next step was of course to look for models, but we didn't have a budget for that, hence I had to convince my friends and cousins, whom you see in our pictures, to pose for us. (Aren't they pretty! 😍) We had no idea, when we started, where we will go and what we'll become, but here we are.
From exhibiting on big platforms like @lilflea to exhibiting in my own house.
From struggling to get a single order for entire week to getting international orders.
If anything, we're only getting started 😎
Nothing makes me happier than a happy silayi customer texting how much they loved the product. So do send a picture/tag us whenever you wear a silayi dress 😊
